On Offense: The Steelers offense must get in some kind of rhythm this week . The play calling has to be much better than last week. Ben Roethlisberger must start off the game fast and be careful with the football. The Steelers can not afford to start off slow on offense. The offensive line must protect Ben.
The Oakland Raiders defense is ranked 2nd in passing yards allowed allowing only 184.9 yards passing a game. The Steelers can run on the Raiders . The Raiders are ranked 24th in the league giving up 124.8 a game rushing . The Steelers offensive line must win the battle of the lines and move the Raiders defensive line. The return of guard Chris Kemoeatu should be a big help to the offensive line . Look for Rashard Mendenhall to have another good game. The Steelers must not turn over the football.
On Defense: The Steelers defense must rush the passer and sack the QB . Raiders QB Jason Campbell can be forced into errors .He has a QB rating of only 81.3 and completes only 56.7% of his passes. The Raiders pass for only 198.8 yards a game. The Steelers pass defense must step up their game and make big plays and interceptions when the opportunity is there. The Raiders strength is in it's running game. They are ranked 2nd in rushing offense ,rushing for an average of 162.2 a game. The Steelers must stop RB Darren McFadden who has 757yards rushing for the season. Look for the Steelers defense to have a big game Sunday.
The bottom line is the Steelers must step up and play like the elite team that they are. Its getting later in the season and its time to step up or shut up. This is the time of year when the good teams rise to the top and begin to separate themselves from the rest of the pack. The Steelers must play with urgency and know that the time is now.
Now for my picks of the week...
After last week my record against the spread is now 20 -19 -1 . Time to get on a hot streak and as always these picks are for amusement only and I hope your laughing all the way to the bank.

The Cowboys -6 over the Lions … The Cowboys find new life with a new coach and tame the Lions$
