Keys to Steeler victory Vs New England and My Picks of the week.

On Offense: The Steelers should be able to move the ball well against the Patriots .The Patriots defense is not that good . They rank 29^th in yards allowed a game, allowing 386.5 yards a game. That's pretty bad. 29^th against the pass and 21^st against the run .

The Steelers should be able to run and pass against this soft New England defense. The Steelers should be fine on offense baring any major turnovers or pre-snap penalties . The Steelers must play smart sound football on offense . The home crowd should be an advantage too .

On Defense : The Steelers defense must stop the Patriots short passing game. The Patriots really have no deep threat now that Moss is gone. The Steelers defense can not let QB Tom Brady get into a rhythm passing the football. They must pressure him early and often and the pass defense must play their A game. Troy Polamalu and the rest of the secondary must make big plays and force some turn overs . The Patriots offense is ranked 20^th in total yards so its not like this is a power house offense . The fact that the Patriots are starting a new kicker due to injury may also be a big factor in the Steelers favor .The home crowd will be a big advantage for the Steelers defense also.

So with all that being said I really believe the Steelers are a much better team then the Patriots and the Patriots are a house of cards about to be blown away by a violent storm of a team ,the Pittsburgh Steelers . The Steelers will win this game easily and prove that they are the contenders not the pretenders.

Now for my picks of the week . I had a bad week end against the spread going 0-3-1 last Sunday my record now is 18-17-1. Time to get back on the winning track and as always these picks are for amusement only and I hope your laughing all the way to the bank!

If I was a betting man I would take.....

The Steelers -5 over New England … The Steelers defense is too tough for Brady and BelaCHEAT and the Pats defense is too soft! $$$$

The Chiefs -1 over Denver … The Chiefs are the better team by far this one looks almost too easy. $$$

The Jets -3 over the Browns … Colt McCoy comes back down to earth against a tough Jet defense.$$

The Cowboys + 13.5 … Garrett helps the Cowboys keep it close and the Giants feel the absence of WR Steve Smith.
