Keys to Steeler victory Vs Jets

On Offense : The Steelers offense must play smart mistake free offense . They can not afford to have holding calls or turnovers against this tough Jets defense.

QB Ben Roethlisberger must make smart throws and not try to force anything because the Jets will make him pay for stupid plays. The Jets defense is ranked 3^rd in total yards allowed and 6^th in points allowed .

The Steelers offensive line needs to find some continuity and grind it out against the Jets defense. The Steelers must not squander scoring opportunities . They have to score touchdowns when in the red zone

and that may have to start with the running game. Rashard Mendenhall must run hard and make quick moves to the hole against the Jets. The Jets only give up 88.5 rushing per game and that is ranked 3^rd in the league .

The Steelers will need a big game from the wide outs and they must take advantage of every opportunity because odds are there won't be many against this Jet secondary. The Jets are ranked 9^th against the pass and give up 203.9 yards passing a game.

The bottom line is that the Steelers must play mistake free offense against the Jets and take advantage of scoring opportunities when they present themselves .

On Defense : The Steelers defense must make more big plays then the Jets defense . The Steelers must show Ryan and his team that they are going against the best defense in the NFL and that defense is the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Jets offense has been stagnant as of late but it does have some weapons and we all know that Santonio Holmes may be looking for a big game.

The Steelers secondary must be ready for the Jets . The Steelers pass rushers must preasure QB Mark Sanchez who is only completing 53.3 of his passes and has been prone to turnovers much of the season . In the back field the Steelers must contain RB LaDainian Tomlinson who is having a decent season with 829 yards rushing.

The bottom line is the Steelers defense should have very little problem with this Jets offense and should dominate Mark Sanchez and the Jets.

In the end the Steelers should be able to beat these Jets and show Ryan that talk is cheap and its what goes down on the field that counts.
